NEWPORT BEACH, CA (August 2001)-Responding to the demand to accommodate over 450 new applications for participation in its footwear show, WSA has created a new exhibitor hall which, in February, will be held at the Las Vegas Convention Center as part of 300,000 square feet of exhibit space. The new exhibits hall will house all categories of product from men's, women's, and children's shoes, junior accessories and handbags to computer and technology distributors.

A continuous shuttle from the Sands Expo Convention Center will be provided for quick access to these new exhibits as well as a larger hall showcasing a number of major fashion footwear brands.

WSA plans to accommodate retail attendance at the hall with industry ads, information on its website, ongoing shuttle service, on-site registration, on-site retailer promotions and lunch promotions.

With over one million square feet of exhibit space displaying more than 1,000 footwear brands, The World Shoe Association is the largest footwear trade market in the U.S. Retail buyers attending the show at the Sands Expo Convention Center and the Las Vegas Convention Center find men's, women's, children's and athletic footwear as well as accessories, handbags and foot care products. The Collections, an upscale exhibition at the Venetian Hotel, features over 100 well-known footwear designer brands.
