At each tradeshow, World Shoe Association maintains a fully-staffed press room. With access limited to registered members of the editorial press, this room is created as a lounge for editors to relax, conduct interviews and write breaking news articles. It also serves as the location for press conferences held by both WSA and show exhibitors.

At the last trade market, more than 180 editors from newspapers, magazines, radio and television attended WSA. These editors are drawn to the press room to:

  • Pick-up tickets for WSA Shoe Party
  • Schedule press conferences and interviews
  • Take a break to plan their show schedule
  • Pick-up exhibitor press materials
  • Attend the WSA Press Conference

Exhibitors do not have access to the press room, but may:

  • Drop off press materials for distribution
  • Conduct scheduled press conferences

All exhibitors wishing to increase their exposure at the show are invited to distribute written materials to the media through the press room. We suggest providing 30 to 50 copies of your press kit, catalogs, photos or press releases for press pick up. Either drop off press materials at the Sands Expo and Convention Center the first morning of the show, or ship press materials for arrival 2-4 days before the show to:
