WSA Show - August 2005 Winners:

Best New Exhibit Booth Design: Guess (photo right)
This first-time exhibitor reinforced the Guess Apparel Image with the creative uses of photography. Other unique features include the heavy use of white with touches of Guess Red and the faux-wood floor with rubberized padding, much appreciated as soft underfoot by busy buyers.

Most Creative Use of Booth Space: Birkenstock (no photo)
Birkenstock's booth was one of the most welcoming and inviting booths on the show floor with a "ZEN" feeling as well as four points of entry representing the divisions of the Company and consistent use of graphics from ads in the booth.

Most Innovative: Dolce Vita (photo right)
Dolce Vita took the traditional booth concept and turned it inside-out, creating an open, raised, white, retro-cabana feeling. Highlights include a raised platform with light curtains and subtle touches of color on retro-modern furniture.

Best New Booth - International: Sergio Tacchini (photo left)
Sergio Tacchini's booth highlights former and current tennis pros wearing the line and ties in the Italian theme with pictures of Italy on the exterior of the booth. The Italian theme continues with the outdoor Italian café and the Romanesque feel of the exterior.

Best New Booth - under 800 square feet: Dry Shod (photo left)
Dry Shod's booth differentiates themselves from their parent company, Pony, by having the look and feel of a high-end European Boutique.

Best New Booth - over 800 square feet: Levi Strauss & Co. (photo right)
Levi introduces their newest line but continues to reinforce their red tab with the gallery-esque feel featuring art murals of moments in history captured by artist Max Effe and the broad use of the signature Levi red and white.

Best Booth Design Overall: Converse (photo left)
Converse integrated a "work in progress" space that conveys the on-going evolution of the Converse Brand. The video collage in the fire pit highlighted film contest winners, the organic topiary theme throughout booth including the turf floor utilized the logo, and Dwayne Wade of the Miami Heat's paint by number on the back wall were just some of the highlights in this booth.
